Fran needs prunes! Hurry! Or not. I don't game anymore. Nearly deleted this blog but since I still log in to neopets occasionally to lab or buy stocks, I couldn't bring myself to erase it (but as you can see there are not and will not be any new posts). I had started to play vpnwars, but found it entirely too tedious :( So sad, I made Prunella the pirate and it seemed like it would be fun, but I killed her off before we ever got off the island :( I just don't have that kind of gaming time any longer (which is probably a good thing, but I do miss my little downtime nonsensical fun).Kouin ya no gotoshi. I no naka no kawazu taikai wo shirazu. Whatever that means.
I’m on a little hiatus and won’t be blogging at all. I’ll be around a wee bit on neopets, but I’m too busy to do more than my dailies and perhaps some mindless activites that can be done while multitasking. Not like my blog will suffer, since I’ve had to neglect it the past few months, hehe, poor thing. I’m sort of stopping playing, but not really, and everything’s fine here except that I am quite busy. I’ve got a little guild work to take care of behind the scenes, so I’ll be doing more of that than playing when I have a bit of free time.
Premium is going bye bye, a) because I won’t be here enough to get my money’s worth, and b) because I don’t think it offers the value in play it once did and I will only miss the super shop wiz which isn’t that great anyhow since it poops out fast.
So… call me crazy or whatever you like, but I’m going to delete my entire friends list. My biggest reason for doing it is that I cannot stand the neofriends in the sidebar, some of the avatars are horrid blinking in the corner of my eye, and I prefer to be incognito. If you really really take that much of an interest in neomailing me or sending me number six plushies, you won’t mind typing my username

So now that I’m down to 4 accounts and trying to squeeze into 2, I realize I cannot live without 5. So sad. ;P
Over the years I have iced a few side accounts and saved the info on them, so I was thinking of attempting to retrieve one of those. I couldn’t quite decide on one and then remembered there was an account I had lost the password to, and lo and behold it’s still sitting there! Couldn’t remember the password, of course, though as it turns out I was close. Where my stumbling block had been was that the email I used for accounts back then was gone, but I have since retrieved that email and just got the password sent to me. Woohoo! Uh. No woohoo. The account was inactive so long that I need to plug in the birthday. Rats. Did I try my real birthday first? No. I tried alternative birthdays I’ve always used, and unknowingly spent my 3 tries at it. I can try again tomorrow and am fairly certain I will be able to get the birthday right without having to go through the entire calendar.
Now, is this a good idea or not? Would it appear I’m breaking into someone else’s account? I don’t think so, but sometimes TNT is a little weird with their logic. There are two pets on there I’d really love to have back, so maybe when I get myself down to 2 accounts I can keep this old side as an extra so I can pet my little pretties.
update: oh whoa, I’m in! my real birthday worked, haha! it feels so weird, like stepping into the past… now what am I going to do? I think I could get rid of one pet, and another of them I just realized would be so great in the guild account for a petpage, and the other two I am just huggling like crazy not realizing how I’d missed them. *squishes the cuties* now I just need neo to change their rules and I can have the 1500 accounts I’ve always dreamed of (that’s 6000 pets!!!).
Have I ever whined about hating Daily Dare? I’m sure I have I’m not a gamer, I stink royally at most games, and I don’t enjoy the forced play. This Daily Dare is doable for me, very easy with little time involvement. I failed utterly yesterday with Freaky Factory, my AAA daily streak is over. It’s the only game I played repeatedly to try for AAA’s score, and I played it morning, noon, and night, to no avail.
Why’d I bother? Well, it used to be a favorite game of mine and I was really quite good at it with an all time high score of 1200+. Easy AAA win, right? Wrong. I did manage 894 once, and sent the score just for the np — and was glad I hadn’t scored 900 because it wouldn’t accept the score! *headdesk*
So I tried again just now, and had the same difficult experience over and over. And then I suppose I got a lucky game. Mostly I’ve been losing when I have 15 seconds left and only need to make 2 toys, and the right colour blob never appears. So frustrating! But I’m done, I scored 957, and I never want to play this game again.
Tip: if you have a pen tablet and play the smallest size game, it helps tremendously
So I don’t get interesting or hilarious neomails any longer. No fodder. No amusement.
But I was just neomailing with a stranger about something and suddenly realized that at that moment I was sending n00bmail. Not good enough for a screenie unless a little desperation was involved, but still… n00bmail. Heh.
And to top it off I have a bowl of BBQ chip crumbs I’m snacking on, and I almost upended the whole thing. My right hand just went and did some weird jerkiness of its own and tried to launch the bowl over my trackball and onto my tablet. My hand is a n00b!

In the DailyDare board yesterday some joker made a thread about Shamwow, and OMG was it hilarious. It got quite long and made for some awesome reading, but sadly when I got back to my computer my browser had been closed and the thread had been deleted by neo’s mods. Someone claimed to be Billy Mays, another was trying to promote the Slap Chop — I hope some of you got to see it and got some good laughs out of it. I hope I see more of this, it’s so far superior to the days when everyone was claiming to be Hilary Duff.
